We're just signed a contract to provide regular content for new travel website Pogo Direct.

Pogo Direct provides an online service for holiday makers looking to rent self-catering accommodation in Spain, France, the USA and other popular destinations around the world.

Why would such a site need a blog?

Well, for one thing it helps with maintaining the Pogo Direct website higher up the rankings of Google and other search engines. The way search engines rank pages and websites, is that they start to discount static content sites over time. That is why many businesses struggle to keep their search engine ranking high after an initial success.

If you don't update the content of your website, search engines start to lose interest in it. And more importantly, so do your existing customers and potential new ones.

How often should you update your online content?

In our experience you should update the news or blog element of your website at least twice a week and no more than twice a day.
